'Be the Change' SOLD
Acrylic on Canvas
80 x 80 x 4 cms
(Framing available - not included in price shown)
This vibrant, light and bright piece was waiting to emerge. I love pink... (fuchsia is my favourite colour) but I hadn't felt drawn to using its hue in quite some time. Mainly but to seasonal reasons (come on Spring!) but also , i feel it can become a bit over used ... and I like keeping it for "the special ones". Just like this piece...
The title - referring to the Mahatma Gandhi quote which has been echoing in my mind, this past week.
"You must be the change you want to see in the world." In other words, although life changes are inevitable, we can also initiate personal change so we can rise to the challenge and become a bigger and better person as a result.
Amen to that.
